Speaker BIO

.Gabriela Dickson La Rotta joined the PJC in October 2020 as a Paralegal in the Human Right to Housing Project. Prior to that, she was a Spanish/English interpreter for a farmworker legal assistance clinic and worked as Special Projects Coordinator for Project Lifeline, a non-profit organization that supports unaccompanied immigrant children. Gaby is originally from Colombia and Argentina, but she grew up in Southeast Asia and graduated from Cornell University in May 2020 with a B.S. in Policy Analysis and Management. As a bilingual member of the Latinx community, she is committed to securing racial and economic justice for people of color and immigrants and plans to attend law school within the next few years. In her free time, she enjoys making fresh pasta and exploring her new home.

Speaker BIO

Carolina Paul joined the PJC in June 2018 as a Paralegal in the Human Right to Housing Project. Before she came to the PJC, she conducted Medicaid outreach and enrollment for Baltimore County families. Carolina has worked in direct service and outreach in education, healthcare, and transportation. She is excited for the opportunity to translate these skills to a legal setting. Carolina grew up in Baltimore and graduated from the University of Chicago.
